Snatch
Snatch is one of the contested lifts in the sport of weightlifting. It takes power, timing, speed, strength, and flexibility. Its an excellent tool for both displaying, and developing power and triple and extension.
When training, and especially when you’re learning the lifts, variations where you focus on one aspect of the lift at a time can be beneficial. For athletes not competing in weightlifting, training the snatch or a variation of it can help improve numerous athletic abilities.
